Robert Sand

Bob Sand has extensive experience as a senior manufacturing engineer that spans more than 50 years. He has held numerous senior level engineering positions with Bell Labs, Ford Aeronutronics, Hughes Aircraft, Burroughs, AFCOA, and Eigen. He is a major contributor to the glass bonded ferrite recording head used in the VHS recorder. His senior talents have helped develop several companies, AFCOA & Eigen. His areas of expertise include, but not limited to, patent applications (which he holds many – several pending); manufacturing engineering; UL, CSA & FDA regulatory standards testing for product certification. At the present time Mr. Sand is involved with computer systems geared towards multimedia training for paperless product assembly. Mr. Sand received his engineering degree at Valparaiso Technical Institute and continues to actively expand his talents attending seminars , workshops, conferences & expositions.
